1. Find the approximate time the train would take to travel 500m.

2. The train set off at 7:30 on a 40km jouney. At approximately what time will it reach its destination?​​

A ) Time take by train = 27.77 seconds

B) The train will reach destination at 8:06

Given as :

The speed of Train = 18 m/s

A ) The Distance travel by train = 500 meter

So , Time take by train =
(Distance)/(Speed)

Or, Time take by train =
(500 meter)/(18 m/s)

Time take by train = 27.77 seconds

B ) The Distance travel by train = 40 km = 40,000 m

And Speed of train = 18 m/s

So, Time take by train =
(Distance)/(Speed)

Or, Time take by train =
(40,000 meter)/(18 m/s)

Time take by train = 2222.22 seconds

Or, Time take by train = 0.617 hours

So, the train will reach destination after 36 minutes

I.e The train will reach destination at 8:06 Answer
