Answer:

(1)/(5) part of the large bowl of popcorn.

Explanation:

If Nathalie's brother takes
(1)/(5) of the large bowl of popcorn for himself, then there remain
(1-(1)/(5) )=(4)/(5) of the large bowl of popcorn.

Now, this amount of popcorn is shared among Nathalie and her three friends.

If each of them get the same amount of popcorn then each of then will get
(4)/(5 * 4) = (1)/(5) part of the large bowl of popcorn. (Answer)

Answer:

Each friend gets
(1)/(5) of the popcorns.

Explanation:

Nathalie's brother takes 1/5 of the popcorn for himself.

so there is ( 1 - 1/5)

= 4/5 of the popcorns left in the bowl

including Nathalie and her 3 friends, there are (3 + 1) = 4 persons.

So, each friend gets

\frac(4}{4 * 5}

=
(1)/(5)

of the popcorns
