Explanation:

It's the equation of a line.

We need only two points to the plotting a graph of a line.

y = -x - 3

for x = -3

y = -(-3) - 3 = 3 - 3 = 0 → (-3, 0)

for x = 0

y = -0 - 3 = 0 - 3 = -3 → (0, -3)
