Given as :

Two lines equation are as :

3y - 5x = 9 And y = -
(5)/(3)x - 12

First line is now written in eq y = mx + c

Or, 3y = 5x + 9

Or, y =
(5)/(3)x +
(9)/(3)

So, Slop of this line ( m 1 ) =
(5)/(3)

slop of second line ( m 2) is
(- 5)/(3)

∵ The slop of both lines are not equal , so the line are not parallel to each other .

Hence Both lines are not parallel Answer
