As people age there one become more porous due to loss of calcium and phosphate and osteoporosis.

Step-by-step explanation:

Osteoporosis is a condition in which the bones become brittle and easy to break on injury which results due to the loss of calcium from the bones. Many health problems and aging can lead to the disease of osteoporosis like breast cancer, prostrate cancer, depression, rheumatoid arthritis, Sickle Cell disease, Parkinson's disease, thalassemia, and many others.

The decreased density of the bone can be detected with the help of bone density x-ray. In females osteoporosis is common after menopause in which the drop of estrogen hormone levels cause the loss of calcium absorption in the bones.
