By providing the colonists with gunpowder the French help the American colonists win the Battle of Saratoga

C) by providing the colonists with gunpowder.

Step-by-step explanation:

American Revolutionary War was the most stupendous war between British and America. Battle of Saratoga was the one big event that made the Americans won. This war is divided into two battles the first is Freeman's Farm and another one is Bemis Heights.

The British won the Batlle at Freeman's farm on 19, September 1777 and Americans won the Battle at Bemis Heights on 7, October 1777. British had lost a huge number of men comparing to America that resulted in the surrender of the British army by providing the colonists with gunpowder.

When the French came to know about this they wanted to sign an agreement with America which was called a Franco-America alliance. As the French wanted their revenge back for being defeated by the British in the French-Indian War they helped the Americans.

French believed that Americans had the likelihood of winning the war so they supported hem with supplies, men, donations, and weapons.
