Why have jellyfish not been thoroughly studied?

Answer with Explanation: It is because Scientists do not study the ocean as much as they would space; their priorities are set to other frontiers, when in reality, we should be exploring our ocean more. Furthermore, Jellyfish have a highly potent sting that they can inflict upon a person, and they tend to live deep enough in the ocean where no vessel or man can enter without being crushed under the immense water pressure. The sad truth is, only 5% of earth's oceans have been thoroughly explored, with the other 95% being completely disregarded for the final frontier: Space exploration. It's also good to note that Jellyfish are known to be immortal, or live forever, so our chances of studying them never leaves. We will always have opportunity to study them, especially with their population growing immensely in the next few centuries.
