Answer:

(f g(12)) is = -6

Explanation:

Given functions are

f(x)= -4x+2 and g(x)= radical over x-8

Now, by putting g(x) in f(x), the function will be

f(x)= -4 √(x-8)+2.

Now, putting 12 in place of x,

√12-8= √4= 2. Here the answer is positive. That's why it will have a result. If it was negative it wouldn’t have answer and would have called indeterminate form.

So, -4 X 2+2 = -8 +2 = -6.

So the answer is -6.
