Mesopotamian civilization developed in the valley of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and is considered the cradle of Western culture.

Ancient Egyptian society had a very efficient but unfair form of organization, ensuring its functioning and expansion. This society was hierarchical, that is, each segment had certain functions and powers, with the least empowered groups having to obey who was above.
