Flappers are the women folks who considered being the youth icon during the period of 1920s. Flappers were considered to be something of western cultured heroines. They were flamboyant and they were totally different from the most conventional who used to be soft and sensitive.
They represented a change from the traditional life style to the modern one. They danced suggestively with the males and openly flirted. They were the gateway for the triumph and also the approaching danger of the cultural shift in the modern age.
They appreciated style over affluence, novelty over conventions and pleasure over ethics.
