Given statement as :

Twice the sum of number and 9 is equal to 3 times the difference of the number and four .

Let the number be x

So, According to question

2 × (x + 9) = 3 × (x - 4)

Or, 2 x + 18 = 3 x - 12

or, 18 + 12 = 3 x - 2 x

Or, 30 = x

I.e x = 30

Hence The number which is given as statement is 30 Answer
