5 DVDs= $60
Therefore:
1 DVD= $12 because $12 x 5= $60
So since we have worked out what one DVD costs we can find out the cost of 3DVDs by multiplying the cost of one DVD by 3.
In conclusion your answer would be:
3DVDs= $12 x 3
= $36

If he buys 5 DVD’s for $60, you can assume that each DVD is $12 because 60/5 is 12. By this logic, if he were to buy 3 DVD’s, he would pay $36
