U.S. GDP is approximately $18 trillion and the U.S. population is approximately 320 million. If GDP were divided equally among the US population what would each person get? Even split: $ 56250 per person If you and your nine best friends took almost all U.S. GDP for yourself but gave $3,000 per person to everyone else, how much would you get each year, just for yourself?

Answer:

$1.704 trillion

Step-by-step explanation:

There would be 319,999,990 (320,000,000 - 10) people with $3,000 per person. In total, this part of the population would contribute 3,000 x 319,999,990 = $959,999,970,000.

You and your nine friend contribute = 18,000,000,000,000 - 959,999,970,000 = 17,040,000,030,000. Assuming that this amount is split equally among you and your friend, you will get 17,040,000,030,000/10 = $1,704,000,003,000 or 1.704 trillion
