Electromagnetic force:

  • Electromagnetic force such as gravity, affects everything that is present in the universe as it has an infinite range.
  • It is a physical interaction between electrically charged particles and it attracts and repels the charges.
  • It is carried by electromagnetic fields that is comprised of magnetic fields and electric fields.
  • The chemical bonds between the atoms are due to the electromagnetic force.
  • Lorentz force which is the whole electromagnetic force of the charged particle,
\bold{F = qE + qv* B} where q is chrge of the particle; E is electric field; v is velocity and B is magnetic field
  • The most common examples of electromagnetic force, is light.
