The DNA of a cell is located on its cytoplasm because the cell does not have nucleus or most of the membrane-bound organelles. With that, the cell is considered to be a prokaryote. Its DNA is in the cytoplasm because it also serves as its nucleoid (equivalent to nucleus in eukaryotic cell)
