Answer: In the ancient era, the yellow river is related to the development of the place. Today, however, the large amount of mud and sand poured into the river makes it a stationary river. The Yellow river flows through the loess plateau, so soft stone blocks fall into the river and flow with the water, accumulate in the river bed, and the bed level becomes increasingly high. Currently, some sectors of riverbed, rise above the level of the river and block the water. Due to the elapsed time, certain sectors of the river are higher than the level of the land, and this phenomenon is called a suspended river. most of the river that crosses in the lower course of the Yellow river is suspended because the sediment in the water is more likely to accumulate in that area.
