From left to right, multiplication and division always go before addition and subtraction.

Plugging everything in and we would get 8×(12) + 2(4)/2

We need to do the addition last so it would be become 96 + 4

And the answer would be 100

8x12=96

96+2x4÷2

Commutative property says we can move the 4 so 2÷2=1

96+1x4

1x4=4

96+4=100
