The tactics used on both sides of the war were brutal and untested in combat until then. hidden traps and bunker system from the Vietcong made it hard for America to try and kill them and ended up getting beaten in that way. America used napalm on the Vietcong, starting long term illnesses and hurting the Vietcong from the inside out
