Explain how your culture deals with death:

Funeral (when, where, what happens?)
Burial or cremation?
Gatherings (memorial services, wakes, family home?)
Tributes (written, spoken, flowers, donations, roadside shrines?)
Other things your culture does to remember the dead (special days?)

Answer:

A dead Muslim is tried to be buried as early as possible, usually within a day.

The ritual is to bath the body of the deceased person and then offer prayers (Salah) at a burial for his forgiveness.

Family members, relatives, friends, co-workers gather at the deceased house. The male members bury the deceased person and offer Prayers for him. Whereas the female members stay at home.

The name of the deceased is written and some people bring flowers or rose petals to keep on the grave.

Every year on the death anniversary of the deceased person food is prepared by the family members and fed to the poor. Special prayers are offered for the deceased.
