The effects of the printing press are really big. Because before the printing press was invented, monks in monasteries copied books by hand and ONLY monks can copy books. And books are expensive, only the rich or noblemen could have books in their house and read. So when the printing press was invented, alot of people could read books and own books now ad books are cheaper.
