multiply second equation by -3 then add both equations up

-3p - 12b + 3p + 2b = $15.50 - $60 ➡-10b = -$44.50

b = $4.50 now use this value in the second equation to find the price of pizza slice

1p + 4×4.50 = $20 ➡1p = $2
