Hey!

---------------------------------------------------

Steps To Solve:

4(2w - 1) = -10(w - 5)

~Distributive Property

8w - 4 = -10w + 50

~Add 10w to both sides

8w - 4 + 10w = -10w + 50 + 10w

~Simplify

18w - 4 = 50

~Add 4 to both sides

18w - 4 + 4 = 50 + 4

~Simplify

18w = 54

~Divide 18 to both sides

18w/18 = 54/18

~Simplify

w = 3

---------------------------------------------------

Hence, the answer is
\Large\boxed{\mathsf{w~=~3}}

---------------------------------------------------

Hope This Helped! Good Luck!
