Explanation:

To do this you would set up the equation for finding slope which is
(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2)-x_(1) ) and you would plug the numbers in. First you would subtract -6 and -2 which is -4 and you would subtract 2 and 1 which is 1. Than you get -4/1 which is -4. To check you would do that same thing with the next set of numbers and get -4 so you know what the m is now. To solve for the b you can see that there is a pattern with the numbers, the x goes up 1 and the y goes down 4 so that means you would just do the opposite of that to get b so for b you would get (0,2). Your final answer would be y=-4x+2
