Tammy uses 1 3/4 cups of laundry detergent. The number of loads is 4

Solution:

Given that, Tammy uses 1 3/4 cups of laundry detergent per load.

When she was finished doing laundry one day.

She noticed that she had used 7 cups of laundry detergent.

We have to find how many loads did she do?

Now, we know that, Total cups used can be written as:

number of loads x number of cups per each load = total cups used.

\begin{array}{l}{\text { Then, number of loads } * 1 (3)/(4)=7} \\\\ {\text { Number of loads } * (1 * 4+3)/(4)=7} \\\\ {\text { Number of loads } * (7)/(4)=7} \\\\ {\text { Number of loads }=7 * (4)/(7)=4}\end{array}

Hence, the number of loads are 4.
