Pollination:
Pollination is a process of fertilization. The pollen is produced by the anther of the stamens in flower. The anther is the swollen part of the stamen. There is a pollen sac which produces the pollen grains. These pollen grains are small coarse substances.
Working process of pollination:
- The small grain are made of one or few cells. They produce male gametes for fertilization.
- Pollination happens combining the male and the female gametes.
- For it to happen the pollen should be linked from the stamen to the stigma and finally it produces seed and fruit.
