If you wet your hand and pickup a ice tray that is below 0°C, your hand may stick to it. This doesn't happen to wood. Why?

Since wood is not warmer than the environment ( unlike your hand) it may seem easier for your hand to stick to wood than a tray. However, logs have a rough surface so there may not be as smooth of a surface as skin for objects to adhere; this your hand can’t stick to wood.

Hope this helped! :)

Answer:

As the ice tray is below 0 degrees when u touch it with wet hands it will freeze the moisture of our hands and sticks.

but this phenomenon doesn't happen in the case of wood
