Answer:

The equation of line passing through given points is 2Y + X + 7 = 0

Explanation:

Given points of line as :

(5 , - 6) And ( -1 , - 3)

With this points, we can find the slop of line

So ,Slop ( m ) =
((y2 - y1 ))/((x2 - x1 ))

Or, m =
(( -3 + 6 ))/(( -1 - 5 ))

Or, m =
(( 3 ))/(( - 6 ))

Or, Slop =
(( -1 ))/(( 2 ))

Now equation of line with this slop and points is :

Y - y1 = m ( X - X1)

Or, Y + 6 =
(( -1 ))/(( 2 )) ( X - 5 )

Or, 2Y + 12 = - X + 5

2Y + X + 7 = 0

Hence the equation of line passing through given points is 2Y + X + 7 = 0 Answer
