I got 35 because first I divided the 12 and 4 to get 3 then added 3 times 9 plus 5 which was 35. I’m not sure if I’m correct though hope it helps somehow!

Explanation:

$(12)/(4 + (3 * 9) + 5) \\ (12)/(4 + 27 + 5) \\ (12)/(36) \\ (1)/(3)$
