Answer:

Explanation:

A: 10/12 ÷ 10

5/6 multipled by 2/2 will give you 10/12

5 x 2 = 10

6 x 2 = 12.

Of course you would keep the other numbers in the same places (10 in the numerator, 12 in the denominator.

Answer:

Each of the player ran (5/60) of a mile = 0.08 miles.

Explanation:

Let each of the member of Soccer team ran k miles.

Hence, the distance ran by the team of 10 members ran =

k+ k+ k.... 10 times = 10 k

Now, the total distance covered was (5/6) of a mile.

10 k =(5)/(6)  mile

or,
k = (5)/(6 * 10)  mile

or, k = 0.08 miles

Balin wrote the expression k= 0.08 miles.

Hence, each of the player ran (5/60) of a mile = 0.08 miles.
