Given The lawyer charges $100 per month for a client.

Also he charges $75 per hour

Let the hours he worked for the client be x

The money the lawyer gets from the hourly charges is $75x

The total money the lawyer charged is $625

total money = monthly charges + hourly charges

625=100 + 75x

75x=525

x=525/75=7

Therefore the lawyer has to work for 7 hours to charge $625
