Suppose ( -3, - 5) and ( – 2, – 3) are points on the graph of the linear function f(x).

Remember, Rise/Run. Your answer is 2 for the slope. And I figure if the slope is positive (also, just look at the numbers, they're greater in the second point than the first) so your function is increasing.
