The dimensions of the frame are 10 yards and 7 yards

Explanation:

Let us assume the length of the frame to be
l and the breadth to be
b.

The perimeter is given to be 34 yards. The perimeter of a rectangle is given by
2(l+b).

Also, it is given that length is 3 more than the breadth. So,
l=b+3

34=2(l+b)

Substituting
l=b+3 in this equation,

17=2b+3

2b=14

b=7

l=10

∴ The length of the frame is 10 yards and breadth is 7 yards.
