The largest lake is the Caspian Sea
The sea is a Russian and the world's most significant inland waterway. It deceives the east of the Caucasus Mountains and toward the west of the vast steppe of Central Asia.
The sea contains some 63,400,000,000 section of land feet or 18,800 cubic miles (78,200 cubic km) of water—around 33% of Earth's inland surface water. The ocean is flanked in the upper east by Kazakhstan, in the southeast by Turkmenistan, in the south by Iran, in the southwest by Azerbaijan, and in the northwest by Russia.
