The possible number of apples you can still pick today is 13

Solution:

Total apples allowed to pick up in a day = 25

Apples already been picked up = 12

We need to determine how many apples are still left to pick

Numbers of Apple left for the day = Total apples allowed to pick up in a day - Apples already been picked up

Numbers of Apple left for the day = 25 – 12 = 13

Hence the possible number of apples you can still pick today is 13

Subtract the amount you already picked from the amount you're allowed:

25 - 12 = 13

You can pick up to 13 more today.
