Answer:

Greatest percentage of grammar question is finished by Ethan that is 28.57%.

Solution:

Given that Michael finished 19% of grammar questions assigned.

Ethan finished 2 out of 7 grammar questions

And Tommy finished 0.24 of grammar questions.

Need to determine who finished greater percentage of his grammar question.

So for comparison, we need to calculate finished questions in % for each of the student.

No calculation required in case of Michael as data is already provided in percentage that is 19%.

For Ethan, percentage of finished question is given as:

=\frac{\text {number of question finished}}{\text {number of total questions}} * 100

(2)/(7) * 100=(200)/(7)=28.57 \%

Let’s assume number of grammar question assigned to Tommy = x.

As Tommy finishes 0.24 of grammar questions, it means Tommy finished
0.24 * x = 0.24x of questions

So percentage of questions finished by Tommy is given as:

(0.24 x)/(x) * 100=24 \%

On comparing the three percentages we can clearly say that greatest percentage of grammar question is finished by Ethan that is 28.57%.
