What is the difference between conjugated -er an -ir verbs endings?

I've been everywhere, and I just can't seem to find anything that I can understand.

In the present tense, the conjugation endings of the verbs in 1st person plural Nosotros and 2nd person plural Vosotros is different in verbs ending in -er and -ir. All the other endings are the same. This only applies to Regular verbs.

In Spanish verbs have three different endings ar-, -er, -ir. Depending on the ending, the conjugation of the verbs in each pronoun changes.

To conjugate the verbs, generally we remove the infinitive ending (-er, -ir) and replace it for the conjugation ending for each pronoun. In simple present, regular verbs ending in -er have the following conjugation endings.

ending example (correr - to run)

yo -o corro

tú -es corres

usted -e corre

él, ella -e corre

nosotros -emos corremos

vosotros -éis corréis

ustedes -en corren

ellos, ellas -en corren

And regular verbs ending in -ir have the following conjugation endings.

ending example (abrir - to open)

yo -o abro

tú -es abres

usted -e abre

él, ella -e abre

nosotros -imos abrimos

vosotros -ís abrís

ustedes -en abren

ellos, ellas -en abren

The only different endings are in the pronouns Nosotros and Vosotros
