An airplane had total of 168 seats. There were six seats in each row. Half of the rows were full of passengers. The rest of the rows had two empty eats in each row. How many passengers were seated on the plane?​

Explanation:

6 rows divided by 168 passengers equals 28 rows. 28 divided by 2 equals 14 rows. 14 rows multiplied by 6 passengers a row equals 84 passengers in the full rows. 14 rows multiplied by 4 passengers equals 56 passengers. 56 + 84= 144
