Answer:

y=2x+9

Explanation:

always start your equations by writing Y=

y=mx+b

The M will be your slope

the B will be your Y-Axis coordinate

Just plug your numbers in

Y=mx+b the M turns into 2 since that is the new slope

Y=2x+b. The X never changes. It will always be there just for looks.

Y=2x+9. It is now +9 on the end due to that being the coordiante where the line touches the Y-Axis. It would be Y=2x-9 if it was a negative slope.

These rules will ALWAYS work.

Hope this helps!!
