PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!! Explain the difference between (-10)^2 and -10^2. What are the values of each expression?

Answer:

The first expression is
(-10)^(2)

which is equal to
(-1*10)^(2)

which is equal to
(-1)^(2)*(10)^(2)

which is equal to
1* 100=100

The second expression is equal to
-1*(10)^(2)

which is equal to
-1* 100=-100

therefore both the values are different.Hope this helps
