Imagine you were a time machine and it took you back to the early 1800's. What would you see during this time? What sights and sounds would you hear and see? Describe how the United States changed from 1800 to 1840.

I believe I would see the events of the Alamo unfold and Texas. I would hear gunshots violence screams and countless innocents being killed. However I see people overflowing with a sense of joy upon the people of the United states winning the battle if the Alamo. I'd see people pondering about life after obtaining a life of freedom from the government of Mexico. There would be so many people prospecting what a life could be like in an independent state called Texas.
