m∠A + m∠B + m∠C = 180°

80° + 40° + m∠C = 180°

m∠C = 180° - 120°

m∠DCE = m∠ACB = 60°

Now by applying triangle sum theorem in ΔCDE,

m∠DCE + m∠CED + m∠CED = 180°

60° + 70° + x° = 180°

x = 180 - 130

x = 50°
