Answer:

First remove parentheses and brackets by multiplying factors.

Then use the exponent rule to remove grouping if the terms contain exponents.

exponent rule- (am)n = am*n

Combine like terms by adding or subtracting coefficients.

Combine the constants.

That's how you simplify expressions
