Where

r is radius

h is height

We know r = 3 & h = 12, substituting, we get volume of the cylinder. Shown below:


V_(cyl)=\pi r^2 h\\V_(cyl)=\pi (3)^2 (12)\\V_(cyl)=108\pi\\V_(cyl)=339.29

It is filled with 200 cubic cm, so that would be:

200/339.29 = 0.589 = 58.9% [filled]

NOT FILLED = 100% - 58.9% = 41.1 %
