Yes students should take art depending on how the student is. Art could come in handy for many different things like decorating, carving drawing' clay, and even how to build things. I am taking art at school and so far it has help me a lot because when we have an arty project or something like that i know how to do it and I also know how to do one point perspective, two point perspective, and even three point perspective that is why I think students should take art.
