Answer: The number of four digit numbers can be formed using the digits 7, 6, 5 and 2 = 256

Explanation:

Given digits = 7, 6, 5 and 2

If repetition is allowed , we can use Fundamental principal of counting.

By this principal , total four digit numbers can be formed = 4x 4x4 x 4 [∵ choice for each place = 4 ]

= 256

Hence, the number of four digit numbers can be formed using the digits 7, 6, 5 and 2 = 256
