x=2

y = 0

Explanation:

3x + y = 6 -------------(i)

5x - 2y = 10 -------------(ii)

Multiply (i) by 2 ===> 6x +2y = 12

(ii) ===> 5x - 2y = 10

add ============> 11x = 22

x = 22/11

x = 2

Substitute x = 2 in (i)

3*2 + y = 6

6 + y = 6

y = 6 - 6

y = 0
