Answer: 5

Explanation:

Given : Total Material = 4 and
(5)/(6) yards

=4+(5)/(6)=(4*6+5)/(6)=(29)/(6) yards

Material required for each scarf =
(7)/(8)

Number of scarfs she make with the existing material

= Total Material ÷Material required for each scarf

(29)/(6)/(7)/(8)\\\\=(29)/(6)*(8)/(7)\\\\=(116)/(21)\\\\=5(11)/(21)\approx5

Hence, the number of scarves can she make with the existing material = 5
