(a)Describe the Lilliputians' initial reaction to Gulliver. (b)Why do they treat him as they do? What does their behavior suggest about human nature?

Answer:

Initially the Lilliputians got scared of Gulliver and they thought of him as a monster. They tried to kill him before he wakes and got his conscious back. After failing to kill him they tried to tie him up with ropes and capture of for interrogation. However they miserably failed in that attempt also.

The behavior of Lilliputians depicts that humans are always scared of the unknowns and before knowing anything they try to destroy or get away with it. The actions of Lilliputians depicts the narrow mindedness of human nature.
