Sylvester says that 0.000002015 written in scientific

notation is 2.015 X 10^6. Do you agree with him? Explain

why or why not.

Explanation:

The answer is No because, when converting to standard form or scientific notation, moving the decimal point to the first significant figure would require a native power sign.

The right answer should be 2.015 X 10^-6. Seeing that the decimal was moved six steps backward to the first significant number which is 2.
