Answer:

The value of x and y is ,

x =
(-5)/(3) and y = 2

Explanation:

The given two linear equation can be written as ,

y + 9x = -13 ....1 and

y - 3x = 7 .....2

Put the value of y from eq 1 into eq 2

i.e (-13 -9x) - 3x = 7

or, -12x = 7 +13

Or, -12x = 20

i.e X =
(-5)/(3)

Now put t his value of x in any above two linear equation

Let put this value on eq 2 to get value of y

so its can be writen as.

y = 3x + 7

or, y = 3(
(-5)/(3)) + 7

or, y = -5 +7

i.e Y = 2

Hence the value of x and y is , x =
(-5)/(3) and y = 2 Answer
